Nitric Acid comes with the chemical formula of HNO3 is also known by the name of aqua fortis. As a highly corrosive and toxic strong acid, in the purest form it is available colourless and upon samples getting older, it tends to gain strong yellow cast because of accumulation of oxides of nitrogen. As a highly reactive oxidizing agent, it comes with the specific gravity of 1.41 and pH of 1.0 (0.1M solution).
